Dr. Alexandra Saura and licensed Veterinary Technician, Jodi Levine have been practicing veterinary medicine in Westchester county for over a decade. We have seen how stressful traditional veterinary visits can be for both owners and their fur babies. These experiences have lead us to the idea of Concierge mobile veterinary care, and Venturing Vets was born.
Low stress, fun, convenient visits with quality medicine is our mission. 

 We provide wellness visits, internal medicine consultation and diagnostics, dental cleanings, minor surgical procedures and peaceful at home end of life care and euthanasia. 

We are able to examine and treat your pet in your home or office and take the time to get to know your furry family and their individual needs. We also provide pop up wellness clinics at Senior living facilities, pet shops and Corporate offices in Westchester and NYC. 

Although we are not an emergency or after hours service, we understand how important your pet is and can provide guidance for these situations on a case by case basis. We love furry tails.  

Wellness Visits

Annual examinations, vaccinations, routine lab work and prevention are all important aspects of your pets basics wellness. With preventative medicine we can prevent and detect disease early to help prolong your pet’s life. Every pet that is vaccinated will receive a complete physical exam. Depending on age or overall health of your pet, specific laboratory testing and preventatives will be recommended.

INTERNAL MEDICINE

Dr. Alex is experienced in managing internal medicine cases- including immune-mediated diseases, kidney disease, liver disease, heart disease, diabetes/endocrine disease and so much more!  We review each case individually and formulate a long-term management plan for your pet. We also work closely with Veterinary specialists in the area when necessary or desired.

POP UP CLINICS

We partner with local pet shops to offer Pop up clinics for discounted routine care (including lab work) and exams. Site fees may apply for hosting a clinic. Please contact us for location and date of our next pop up clinic. 

EUTHANASIA

We love grey muzzles, they are very special to us.

Dr. Alex has had extensive experience in hospice and at home euthanasia. 

Deciding on euthanasia can be very difficult, so we walk you though the process and guide you every step of the way. We are able to tailor hospice visits to the specific needs of your pet to ensure a comfortable, peaceful and perfect goodbye.  We can also handle all of the aftercare. MEDICATION

We have a well stocked on board pharmacy for basic veterinary needs.  We also offer an extensive online pharmacy with competitive prices with other online pharmacies for quick, convenient and cost effective care.

MINOR SURGICAL PROCEDURES

We are equipped to perform minor surgical procedures, including, but not limited to, growth removals, laceration repair, wound management and dental cleanings/oral surgery. Other surgical procedures will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

OFFICE/APARTMENT DAYS & PET PARTY

We know how hard it is getting fur family taken care of while balancing work and life. If your office allows pets we are happy to treat your pet or everyone's pets for a "Pop up" clinic. Discounted services and a single site fee will be charged for "Pop up" clinics that can be split up, or can be covered by management as an office "perk"! 

We can also coordinate within apartment/condo buildings and complexes to serve multiple clients in the same day, or host a Pet party! Get a few friends together for a furry play date and let us handle the routine care followed by pet friendly ice cream! All these will result in a discounted house call fee. SENIORS

We love helping our senior living communities. We service all pet friendly senior living facilities with discounted fees. 

TRANSPORT

We offer transport to specialty hospitals or other referral hospitals in the area. These services are limited by time and will be considered on a case by case basis. 

DIAGNOSTICS

We offer full immediate laboratory blood work for ill patients including Preventative and diagnostics blood panels, lyme and other tick born screening, Heartworm testing, Feline leukemia/AIDS testing, Pancreatitis screening, Thyroid screening and urine analysis for urinary disease.

 We also offer more advanced panels through our reference laboratory, including cultures, histopathology, advanced diagnostics screenings etc. 

 We have an on-board microscope, and a mobile ultrasound unit that can be used for minor ultrasound procedures. We offer complete and advanced ultrasounds and echocardiograms for cardiac evaluation through a traveling ultrasonographer/radiologist and Cardiologist. We are able to perform immediate x rays with access to a full radiology consultation.
